Madeline Herbert - Artist
Madeline Herbert was born in London and studied at Ealing Art College. She left England with her family and moved to Australia in the 1960's.
Madeline worked in window display, painting murals and backdrops. After her two boys left home, she moved to Maleny and continued her passion of watercolour and acrylics. She has been a member of Seaview Art Gallery in Moffat Beach for 25 years.
She has had a love affair with Italy and Greece where she rented a villa, painting and touring Europe. Madeline joined SCART a few years ago and loves passing on her passion teaching watercolours and acrylics.
Her classes are every second Monday morning 9.00 to 12.00pm and Tuesday 1.00pm to 4.00pm. Cost is $30 cash to Madeline. Please advise of your attendance by email, phone or text. 0488605002 or madnjackie@gmail.com
Don Woodley Artist 
Don was born in southeast England and emigrated to Australia in the early 1960's, settling in Sydney's Georges River area. After 34 years with Coles Myer, including 20 years in planning and design, he rtired in 1997 and returned to his lifelong love of art. Starting with pen and wash, he later explored watercolours and oils, studying with renowned artists such as Brian JOnes, Tony Lewis, Greg Allen, Ross Patterson and JOseph Zbukvic.
Don has been an active member of the Sunshine Coast Arts Group, serving on the management committee, still teaching weekly classes, and exhibiting widely. A member of the Bribie Island Art Society, Queensland Watercolour Society and Queensland Arts Council, he has sold many works now hanging in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
