ECO DYEING WORKSHOP

       ECO DYEING is a natural technique that uses leaves, flowers and other plant material to create beautiful and organic patterns and colours on fabric and paper. A rolling and boiling/steaming technique is used.

This workshop is presented by Natalie Billing - an Installation Artist, Eco Dyer and Memory Archivist.

Natalie will show you how to make a 'brew' to boil either a wool or silk scarf and then show you a stencil dyeing technique to use on paper.

The scarves make wonderful and unique Christmas gifts.

Everything for the workshop is provided. Just bring an open mind.

COST:  $150 (members)   

             $160  (non-members).
