No More Manually Restoring Recycled Clay!

Thanks to a grant from Sunshine Coast Council

Recycling of clay is proving so much easier thanks to the new pugmill for the pottery studio. It is awesome to now be able to process used clay, recycling this valuable resource for our club’s use. With the new pugmill the process has become so much more manageable and eased the physical work impact on our potters.

It has been a boon to the club already and all thanks to a Grant received from the ever supportive Sunshine Coast Council as part of their Major Grants – Community Development.

We are also lucky to have an industrious and skilled member who was able to design and construct the metal cover. This cover will protect and secure the pugmill in its position, many thanks to Gary!

A fantastic 2 day Sculptural Techniques workshop with Janna Pameijer in our SCArt pottery studio. Everyone learned so much and created so many magical creations.

School holiday art session for teens and pre-teens. Their aim was to encourage students to be imaginative and individual, to explore and have fun.
