How to plan for a market stall

Objectives:

The attendees will:

 Learn the market lingo.

 Consider how to pack their wares for safe transport.

 Practise efficient setting up of a market stall including gazebo, tables and weights to satisfy market

requirements and keep other market stall holders/organisers safe and happy (whilst appreciating the

physical nature of the task).

 Learn the various table layout options, lighting options and display set up options, in order to attract

customers to their stall on their day.

 Discuss public liability insurance and what is required to register for a market stall.

 Be given an essential equipment list to ensure they are prepared for the day and ready to sell and

merchandise.

 Be given advice on branding to maximise customer access to their products and the use of social media

to gain followers.
