CRAFT

Our weekly Craft sessions are open to SCArt members only.

These are untutored/self-help sessions.


What is your craft?

Beading, jewellery making, macrame, knitting, crotchet, felting, mosaics, needle work, paper craft, scrapbooking, working with resin, matchstick creations or upcycling and repurposing?

Then join us for a friendly afternoon of crafting and inspiration.

Members bring along any project that they are working on. Dig out those ’unfinished projects’ or start something new.

Be inspired by what other members are making and get those creative juices flowing.

Watch out for WORKSHOPS to be held during the year.

You are welcome to attend 2 sessions before you are required to become a member of SCArt .

    BASIC BASKETRY

    Carole Reilly is a very experienced and talented artisan. She studied Fine Art and Traditional Art for 9 years. She has spent many years refining her technique to make these beautiful bowls, baskets and containers.

    In this workshop, Carole will guide you through the process of BASIC  basket making using lomandra leaves and string or twine, to make a COASTER /SMALL BOWL.

                                                        All materials will be provided.                                                                                                                  There will be an afternoon tea break.

                                                      PLEASE PAY WHEN YOU BOOK.                                                                         JUST REGISTERING DOES NOT SECURE YOU A PLACE IN THE WORKSHOP.      

    • More advanced workshops are planned to show you how to make lids, add feet and include tealights for those inspired by this workshop.
